Over the past five years I have traveled to several cities and while each city is different, each contains traces of the human presence. What interests me about this theme is that it can be found through man-made objects or through human beings interacting in a particular setting. There are varying levels where the human presence can be bold and vibrant like a flashing neon sign or can be as subtle and indirect such as a footprint in the snow. While visiting a city I enjoy taking the time to not only document the place I am in, but explore and photograph this theme. This collection gives a glimpse of that observation.

All photographs were made between 2012 and 2017.
